“Shoot Your Shots” Erick Omondi’s Ex-Girlfriend

Eric Omondi’s ex-girlfriend Lynne Njihia is embracing singlehood and letting the world know she’s open to new love.

The social media personality and new reality TV star recently made headlines at the launch of The Mommy’s Club, a show she stars in alongside Jackie Matubia, Pierra Makena, Carey Priscilla, and Ofentse Tsipa. During the glamorous launch, Lynne didn’t hold back when asked about her relationship status.

“I’m single, guys. Shoot your shot,” she said playfully, adding that while she may appear all lovey-dovey on the show, she’s not dating anyone at the moment.

Lynne and comedian Eric Omondi were together for almost four years. She confirmed their breakup back in April and has since been focusing on motherhood and her new role as a reality TV star.

While the two were once one of the most talked-about couples in Kenya’s entertainment scene, Lynne is now taking time for herself and her daughter Kyla.

On the premiere episode of The Mommy’s Club, Lynne opened up about the emotional rollercoaster she faced during her second pregnancy.

She revealed that she doesn’t plan on having more children anytime soon due to the trauma she experienced.

“No, I will forever be Mama Kyla,” she said emotionally. “The pregnancy for me was really hard, and Kyla was born preterm.”

According to Lynne, she went into labor a week early and initially thought it was a false alarm. What made it even more overwhelming was the fact that she got pregnant just two months after suffering a miscarriage.

“The first thing Eric and I did was go to the hospital. We wanted to make sure everything was okay,” she shared.

Doctors discovered Lynne was already seven months pregnant and had started dilating. She was admitted to the hospital for four days to stop the early labor.

Although it initially worked, things took a scary turn when she stopped feeling the baby’s movements after being discharged.

“We rushed back to the hospital. The ultrasound showed she was okay, but the next day I woke up in active labor,” Lynne recounted.

She underwent an emergency C-section. Her daughter was born with breathing issues because her lungs hadn’t fully developed.

“She couldn’t coordinate breathing and swallowing. We stayed in the hospital for two weeks,” Lynne said, tearing up as she recalled the moment.

Though the past few months have been tough, she’s ready to move forward, both emotionally and professionally.

So yes, Lynne Njihia is single, and if you’ve got a shot to shoot, she’s giving the green light.
