Three weeks ago, he was hosting VIPs at a parish celebration. Now? His Subaru Forester is missing, and his community is in shock, lighting candles and demanding answers that no one seems to have.
Who did this? And why?
On April 27, he welcomes Gachagua and other leaders for a family day. May 16, he’s gone. Just like that. The kind of gone that sparks flashbacks to Bishop Muge.
Maina’s final sermon was a bold one. He didn’t play it safe. He challenged leaders to lead with integrity and humility. He called out corruption. He spoke with fire. Maybe too much fire for some.
When the news broke, tributes flooded social media. People weren’t just mourning, they were furious. This wasn’t just a man of God. This was someone who actually gave it all about justice, about community, about truth.
And now? Silence. Vague statements. A missing car. A dead priest. A post-mortem is pending at St. Benedict Mission Hospital while the police try to piece together whether this was politically charged or just “another crime.”
