Mueni, the wife of renowned Kenyan tailor Bolo Bespoke, has urged Kenyans involved in planning American streamer iShowSpeed’s visit to Kenya to ensure her husband gets a chance to meet the global content creator. Her appeal comes as excitement builds around Darren Jason Watkins Jr’s anticipated arrival, with fans and creators proposing experiences meant to showcase Kenya’s culture, landscapes, and creativity.
Speaking in a TikTok video on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Mueni expressed concern that while many are focused on presenting the so called Seven Wonders of Kenya to iShowSpeed, little attention has been given to local creative talents who also represent the country’s identity. She described her husband as a Kenyan wonder whose work deserves recognition alongside the country’s most celebrated attractions.
“Let me give you some gossip. Guys, listen to me. So now I have seen everyone talking about iShowSpeed, and I hear you all are planning on the 7 Wonders of Kenya you will show him. Yet I have not heard you all talking about my husband, the tailor,” Mueni said.
She emphasized that Bolo Bespoke’s contribution to fashion and creative expression is significant and should not be overlooked. According to Mueni, showcasing local craftsmanship is just as important as highlighting landscapes, wildlife, and historic sites, especially when hosting a global influencer whose audience spans millions worldwide.

Why Mueni Says Bolo Bespoke Should Meet iShowSpeed
Mueni explained that her request was not impulsive but the result of careful thought. She called on those organizing content creator meetups and experiences for iShowSpeed to deliberately include her husband in their plans. She believes such a meeting would reflect fairness and provide meaningful representation of Kenya’s creative industry.
She highlighted that Bolo Bespoke’s influence as a tailor extends beyond clothing, noting that his work reflects innovation, identity, and modern Kenyan culture. In her view, introducing iShowSpeed to local creatives like her husband would allow the streamer to engage with Kenya at a deeper level beyond sightseeing.
“I wonder if you guys do not realise that this tailor here, my husband, is also a wonder of Kenya. Do you not understand? So I want, when plans are being made for content creators to meet Speed, to make sure you bring the streamer here to meet him. And I have really thought about this,” Mueni said.
Her message has sparked conversation online, with many Kenyans debating how best to represent the country during high profile visits by international personalities. Some users echoed her sentiments, pointing out that Kenya’s creative economy, including fashion, music, and digital content, deserves global exposure.
Where iShowSpeed Is Coming From Before Kenya
iShowSpeed officially launched his African tour in Angola on December 29, 2025, where he spent several days interacting with fans and exploring local culture. His visit drew massive attention, with live streams capturing spontaneous moments that quickly circulated across social media platforms.
After Angola, the streamer traveled to South Africa, where he received an equally enthusiastic welcome. Large crowds followed his movements, and his interactions with fans further strengthened his growing connection with African audiences. He then headed to Mozambique, arriving on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
In Mozambique, iShowSpeed’s presence turned into a moving street spectacle as thousands of fans walked alongside him while he streamed live. He openly praised the country’s scenery, participated in cultural activities, met traditional dancers and acrobats, and joined them in performances that went viral online.
Following Mozambique, he proceeded to Botswana, where he streamed from the jungle and during a safari experience. His journey then took him to Zimbabwe as his sixth stop, where he announced a one day break before continuing his streaming schedule.
