After sharing his story online, Kenyans rallied around him in an incredible show of support. On September 28, fellow TikTokers organized a visit to his home, where well-wishers turned up in large numbers to offer help. Kaluma received financial support, brand partnerships, and countless gifts that changed his family’s life.
During a thanksgiving service at Bishop Muthee Kiengei’s JCM church, the kindness continued. Kaluma’s mother received over KSh 2 million to start a business, while the family was gifted land to build a new home.
