Crypto Millionaire Alexei Dolgikh Dies in Fiery Lamborghini Crash

The crypto community is mourning the loss of 36-year-old Russian investor Alexei Dolgikh, who died in a devastating road accident involving his luxury Lamborghini Urus. The crash, which occurred in the early hours of the morning, has sparked an outpouring of grief online and renewed discussions around speeding and reckless driving among wealthy crypto figures.

According to reports by Metro UK, Dolgikh was driving with three friends when the tragedy occurred on a major highway in Russia. Dashcam footage revealed that the businessman lost control of his speeding Lamborghini at around 1:30 a.m., crashing into a guardrail before the vehicle flipped and exploded into flames. Authorities confirmed that Dolgikh and his passenger, Ivan Solovyov, died instantly, while the two others, Nikita Tezikov and Kirill Mochalov, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Botkin Hospital.

Investigators believe overspeeding played a key role in the accident, with reports showing the car was traveling at over 150 km/h in a 112 km/h zone. Footage from the scene showed the Lamborghini engulfed in flames and large amounts of Russian currency scattered across the highway. Prosecutors have since launched a full investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.

Was Alexei Dolgikh Facing Trouble Before His Death?

Dolgikh had gained fame in Russia’s crypto circles for his lavish lifestyle but was also surrounded by controversy. Local media reported that several banks had blacklisted him in recent months over alleged money-laundering activities. Additionally, he had accumulated an astonishing 586 traffic fines, mostly for speeding, since purchasing the Lamborghini just over a year ago.

In a bizarre twist, the same car was reportedly involved in a non-fatal shooting incident in September last year, further adding to his notoriety.

Fans React as Crypto World Faces Another Tragedy

News of Dolgikh’s death spread rapidly across social media, with fans expressing shock and sorrow. Markus Markusmüller wrote, “Second Russian crypto millionaire this month, what is going on?” while Michael Lind commented, “So he didn’t jump out of the window. Perhaps something bad happened to him. May he rest in peace.”

The tragedy follows another high-profile death of crypto investor Konstantin Ganich, 32, who was found dead in his Lamborghini in Kyiv on October 11, with a firearm discovered beside him.
