Kenyan YouTuber and comedian 2mbili has once again survived a terrifying road accident after his car rammed into a lorry along the Kitengela route. The crash, which occurred around midnight, left his car severely damaged and fans deeply concerned about his safety.
What Happened During 2mbili’s Kitengela Accident?
In a video shared on Instagram, 2mbili showed the wreckage of his vehicle, with the bonnet crushed and the airbag deflated. A tow truck could be seen on standby to remove the damaged car from the road as the visibly shaken comedian recorded the aftermath.
He later gave an update about his condition, thanking medical staff and fans who reached out with messages of concern. “Thanks to the hospital for the quick response at the accident scene in Kitengela last night at 12 midnight when fatigue took over me and I slept on the steering wheel and I rammed into a lorry!! How I am alive now is god’s favour! Thanks to all your ‘poles’ and calls, which I unfortunately couldn’t pick up as I was going through a couple of check-ups!! For now, let us not blame the car, blame the driver,” he said.
The comedian admitted that fatigue was the main cause of the crash, reminding his followers of the dangers of driving while tired. The incident once again raised concern among fans, as it’s not the first time 2mbili has been involved in a car accident.

His close friend and fellow entertainer Oga Obinna had previously advised him to take a break and even consider seeking spiritual guidance after a series of past accidents. Obinna’s public remarks sparked mixed reactions online, with some supporting his concern while others felt the conversation should have been private.
This latest accident comes months after 2mbili was involved in another crash while heading to Stivo Simple Boy’s concert in Kisii. Despite the repeated scares, his followers expressed relief that he escaped unharmed once again. Many also flooded his comment section with messages of support, prayers, and reminders to rest.
