Willy Paul’s Liquor Store Broken, Thieves Steal Expensive Alcohol and Damage Property

Musician Willy Paul, popularly known as Pozze, is counting huge losses after his high-end liquor store along USIU Road was broken into by thieves. The incident, which occurred just months after he opened the business in May, left the shop severely damaged and several bottles of premium alcohol stolen.

In a video shared on his Instagram, Willy Paul gave fans a glimpse of the aftermath, showing shattered glass scattered across the floor, broken shelves, and a smashed window. The artist said the break-in was a deliberate act by hired goons who tried to make it look like students in the area were responsible.

What Happened During the Break-In?

According to Willy Paul, the group behind the incident targeted valuable stock and attempted to tamper with the security system.
“My shop was targeted by a group of hired goons who attempted to create the impression that the attack was carried out by students. In reality, their sole intention was theft. They broke into the shop, stole merchandise, including some expensive alcohol, and even tried to steal the CCTV hard drive, but were unsuccessful,” he said.

The damage to the store was extensive, but the musician confirmed that no one was harmed during the attack. He added that the thieves not only destroyed property but also attempted to sabotage evidence by interfering with the surveillance system.

What Is Willy Paul Doing About It?

Willy Paul confirmed that police officers have already been briefed about the theft and that investigations are ongoing. He expressed confidence that those responsible will be tracked down and brought to justice.
“I want to assure you all that no one was injured, and the police have been notified. Investigations are already underway, and we are working closely with the authorities to apprehend those responsible. I also want to let you know that our business remains open, and we appreciate your continued support during this time,” he said.

Despite the setback, the “Kitanzi” hitmaker assured fans and customers that the liquor store remains operational. His determination to rebuild and continue running the business highlights his resilience beyond the music scene.

Willy Paul’s fans flooded his social media with messages of support, encouraging him to stay strong and commending his calm response to the incident.
