Content creator and comedian Oga Obinna’s fourth baby mama, Tallie, has opened up about her past relationship with him and why she chose to keep her pregnancy a secret. Speaking candidly during a Q&A session on Instagram, Tallie shared that fear and anger were the main reasons she never told Obinna about the pregnancy.
Why Did Tallie Hide Her Pregnancy from Oga Obinna?
Tallie revealed that Obinna was present when she found out she was expecting, but said nothing at the time. “He was around when I found out, but I just did not tell him. I did not tell him because of fear and a hint of anger. I was angry. I was never going to say anything, I was ready to take it to the grave,” she said.
The artist explained that her decision was not about the pregnancy itself but the complications that came with co-parenting. “I was not mad about the pregnancy. With co-parenting, it is hard to reason on the same level. You will never think alike. Different points of view can cause arguments. Communication is also another issue. What you say is not always what the other party hears. How they choose to interpret what you have said is another factor,” she added.
Obinna, on his part, revealed that he only learned about the child three months after she was born. The YouTuber said the discovery shocked him and led to a difficult conversation with Tallie about why she kept the news from him.
When asked about her current relationship status, Tallie shared that she has been single for a long time and is not rushing into anything new. She emphasized that her main focus is her daughter, Ella, and maintaining a peaceful co-parenting relationship with Obinna.
“I do not know what the future holds, all I know is that she needs her dad just as much as she needs me. It might have ups and downs, but as long as Ella remains our priority, everything will work out,” she said.
Tallie also mentioned that she shares a positive relationship with Obinna’s other children. “We are friends. They respect me, I respect them. They love Ella as well,” she added.
