
Fast-rising social media influencer and singer Lola Doll is in critical condition after being shot multiple times outside her home in Georgetown, Guyana. The 33-year-old was attacked while sitting in her car late Saturday, September 6, prompting a police investigation that has since identified a prime suspect.

According to the Guyana Police Force, the attack occurred around 11:30 PM. Lola Doll sustained gunshot wounds to her neck, face, hands, and right leg before being rushed to a nearby hospital. Authorities suspect that the shooter, believed to be a male gunman, attacked while riding a motorcycle.
Police have launched a full-scale investigation, reviewing CCTV footage from the area. On Sunday, September 7, they released a wanted flyer describing the case as attempted murder, urging the public to assist with any information that could lead to an arrest.

Lola Doll, born and raised in East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, is a popular figure on Instagram with nearly 53,000 followers under the handle @loladoll_gydolly. Her music career took off earlier this year with the release of Cement Body, a hit track that has already amassed over 430,000 views on YouTube.

The incident has left fans in shock, flooding social media with messages of concern and prayers for her recovery. Some also pointed out that Lola had previously spoken about suspicious individuals visiting her shop in the days leading up to the attack.
