Colonel Mustafa has found himself at the centre of social media conversation after his very public marriage proposal to Noti Flow ended in rejection. The legendary artist, once celebrated for chart-topping hits and his high-profile relationships, experienced one of the most dramatic emotional setbacks of the year during a live recording on Oga Obinna’s YouTube show.
What Happened During Mustafa’s Proposal?
The interview began with lighthearted banter until Mustafa interrupted the host to declare his feelings. “I do not know how you are going to take this, but you have been special to me since way back. You still have a special place in my heart. I put you before any other woman I have dated in the past. You are the queen, and I am ready to even get a tattoo of you anywhere,” he said.
Pulling out a ring from his breast pocket, Mustafa went down on one knee, adding: “Wewe ndio nyota yangu. This is my mum’s ring, please. You are the one I belong with. If you accept me, I will become a complete legend. Take me.”
Noti Flow, however, stood firm. She clarified that she had joined the show only to promote their new song and could not accept the proposal. “I am sorry, I love you as a friend. I truly care for you, I love your mum, and I want the best for you, but this, no,” she responded.
