Why did Snoop Dogg and Tyrese repost Jaymoh’s skit?
Kenya’s fast-rising content creator Jaymoh Decin is enjoying a breakout moment after two major names in entertainment, Snoop Dogg and Tyrese Gibson, shared his viral comedy skit on their Instagram pages. In the skit, Jaymoh plays a flamboyant friend casually enjoying a meal with his crew at a luxurious lounge. The punchline hits when the caption reveals the context: “When the person paying the bill keeps standing up.” His friends, suspecting he might dodge the bill, comically rise each time he does.
Snoop Dogg responded to the clip with laughing emojis, adding, “Can’t let it happen,” while Tyrese shared the video with the message, “Levels! Kenya to the world,” along with applause emojis. Their reactions triggered an outpouring of excitement and national pride among Kenyan fans who quickly filled the comments, tagging Jaymoh and praising his comedic talent.

How did Jaymoh Decin react to international recognition?
In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Jaymoh shared that the recognition was humbling but also a sign that bigger dreams are within reach. “The only mission is to reach the BET Awards, and we will get there,” he said confidently. He credited his rise to hard work and consistency. “It does not matter what you are doing, you must work hard. Consistency is also very important.”
Jaymoh, known for his celebrity impressions of figures like Steve Harvey, Nigeria’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Kenya’s Willy Paul, admitted, “I am also amazed by myself just the way the fans are. There is no limit, again, the hard work pays.”

What’s next for Jaymoh and Kenyan comedy?
Jaymoh revealed he is focused on securing brand endorsements and monetising his talent fully. “We pray that those brands will come,” he said. He also has plans to launch a YouTube channel with a full comedy series already in development. He expressed gratitude to Kenya’s comedy pioneers and stated his intent to collaborate more widely within the content creation space.
“It’s not by power or might, but by the Spirit of the living God. We’re taking Kenyan comedy to the world, thank you all for the support,” he said.
