Actor Martin Githinji, better known as Daddy Marto, has officially broken his silence following serious accusations made by his wife, Koku Lwanga, regarding their marriage. Koku recently took to social media to announce the couple’s separation and made emotional claims involving alleged cheating and domestic abuse.
In a strongly worded statement, Marto denied any involvement in violent behavior, whether physical, emotional, or psychological. He emphasized that he does not condone violence in any form and categorically dismissed the accusations as false and damaging.

“I want to state unequivocally: I do not condone violence of any kind, physical, emotional, or psychological,” he said. “I also unequivocally reject being the subject of false and harmful accusations.”
Marto described the narrative being spread online as “significantly distorted” and “one-sided,” stating that it leaves out important context and fails to reflect the full truth. According to him, the allegations not only affect his reputation but also bring harm to their children, both families, and their broader community.

This response follows Koku’s public revelations about the breakdown of their relationship. She accused Marto of cheating on her and physically assaulting her after she confronted him and another woman. She also alleged that she was left to handle most household responsibilities, including paying rent and the nanny’s wages, during their final stretch together.
Koku’s messages revealed the emotional strain she experienced, including moments of depression and thoughts of self-harm. She claimed her efforts to salvage the marriage were dismissed, and she felt devalued and abandoned.
