Rapper Lil Nas X has spoken publicly for the first time since his shocking arrest in Studio City, Los Angeles, where police confronted him after finding him walking in the street wearing nothing but underwear and white cowboy boots.
The musician, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, entered a not-guilty plea in court on Monday. He faces charges after allegedly injuring a police officer during the incident, which unfolded last Thursday.

In an Instagram story post, Hill reassured his fans with a message that reflected both humor and vulnerability. “Your girl is gonna be okay, y’all,” he said. “Okay? She’s gonna be alright. S….” He added, “That was f…ing terrifying. That was terrifying. That was a terrifying last four days. But your girl is gonna be alright.”
What Happened in Studio City?
The events began shortly before 6 a.m. when Lil Nas X was seen roaming the busy Ventura Boulevard. TMZ footage captured him strutting down the street and at one point, holding an orange cone over his head. When police arrived, he allegedly charged at the officers before being subdued. Concerned he might be experiencing a drug overdose, officers transported him to a hospital before booking him into custody.
He was later released on a $75,000 bail, under the condition that he attends drug treatment.
