Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya Opens 95 Job Opportunities for Graduates

The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK) is expanding its team by advertising 95 career opportunities for Kenyan graduates. The move is aimed at strengthening compliance with national and international doping regulations. ADAK has urged interested candidates to submit their academic and professional documents by Tuesday, November 18, 2025, through its official recruitment portal.

What Roles Are Available at ADAK?

The agency is offering positions across four main categories. There are 35 openings for doping control officers, who will identify control stations and supervise sample collection from athletes. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in physical education, sports management or administration, sports science, or leisure and recreation management, and must be proficient in computer applications. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, pharmacy, or a postgraduate diploma in physical education are also eligible.

ADAK is also seeking 20 anti-doping educators. These professionals will implement educational programs for athletes, coaches, and support staff. The qualifications mirror those for doping control officers, emphasizing a strong academic background in sports or related fields and proficiency in computer applications.

The agency has 10 openings for blood collection officers responsible for collecting blood samples in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code. Candidates must hold a diploma in medical laboratory science, have at least three years of experience as a phlebotomist, and possess a valid practicing license from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians & Technologists Board (KMLTTB). Proficiency in computer applications is required.

Additionally, ADAK is recruiting doping control chaperones. These staff members will notify athletes of their selection for testing, document the notification process, and ensure athletes’ rights are protected. Applicants should hold a diploma in social science, have a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum C-, and be proficient in both English and Kiswahili. Computer skills are essential for this role.

How to Apply for ADAK Jobs

ADAK emphasized that it is an equal opportunity employer that hires based on merit. “The agency values its employees and endeavours to provide a conducive work environment and support them in developing their skills and capabilities,” the agency stated. All applications must be submitted through ADAK’s recruitment portal before the November 18, 2025 deadline. Candidates are advised to ensure that all required academic and professional documents are complete to qualify for consideration.

These openings present a significant opportunity for Kenyan graduates to contribute to the fight against doping in sports while building a professional career in a growing sector.
