How can job seekers increase their chances?
Career expert Simon Ingari shared practical advice for applicants looking to stand out:
“Don’t overthink it. Just tell them why you are awesome and why you want the job. Keep your resume simple. Use bullet points. Employers like things easy to read. Highlight the important stuff like skills and experience.”
He also warned against trying to sound too polished:
“Just be real, there is no need for fancy words. Be intentional, honest, and stay persistent. Do not lose hope if you are not hired.”
Simon Ingari can be reached at cv@oyk.co.ke for further support.
In addition to NCRC, job seekers can explore openings recently announced by KCB Bank, Vihiga County’s finance and medical departments, and the Ministry of Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy, which is recruiting through the Media Council of Kenya.
Now is a great time for qualified professionals to refine their applications and seize the opportunities presented across Kenya’s public sector.
