Liverpool has finalized a deal to sign left-back Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth in a transfer valued at £40 million. The 20-year-old Hungarian international had already committed to the move two months ago, expressing his interest in joining the Anfield project back in May.
Kerkez is expected to travel to Liverpool on Tuesday next week to complete the final steps of the transfer. The Reds see him as a key addition to strengthen their defense ahead of the new season.
Known for his pace, strong tackles, and attacking presence on the left flank, Kerkez impressed during his time at Bournemouth, attracting attention from several top clubs. Liverpool moved quickly to seal the deal, reflecting the club’s long-term vision and confidence in the young defender’s potential.
This move signals a fresh phase in Liverpool’s squad building, with Kerkez set to compete for a regular starting spot under the club’s new management.
